We will bring the sunshine, mostly. Here is everything you need for a first swim at Fernhill: opening times, getting around the site, the kiosk and the huts. Fernhill Lido is fictional, so it has no real address. A real lido would add directions, transport and parking details here.

No membership card, no fuss. Here is how a first visit works.

Your first swim, in five steps

Steel ladders into a blue outdoor pool lined with trees

Pay at the gate, or what you can

Pick a hut and change

Shower before you get in

Choose a lane, or the shallow end

Tea at the kiosk afterwards

A lido is more than its water. Take your time on the deck: there is always somewhere to dry off and something warm to drink.

The good bits between swims

A pool hoist at the shallow end and wide steps with handrails at both ends. Ask a lifeguard for help any time.
